2. Presentation (10 minutes):
- Show flashcards with pictures of different types of food, such as fruits, vegetables, and snacks.
- Say the name of each food item and have the students repeat after you.
- Write the names of the foods on the whiteboard or blackboard, paying attention to correct spelling.
3. Practice Activity 1: Matching (10 minutes):
- Distribute a worksheet with pictures of various food items.
- Instruct the students to match each picture with the correct word from a given list of words.
- Monitor and provide assistance as needed.
4. Practice Activity 2: Flashcard Game (10 minutes):
- Divide the class into two teams, Team A and Team B.
- Show a flashcard to the first student on Team A.
- The student has to describe the food item without saying its name, and their teammates have to guess the word.
- The team that guesses the word correctly gets a point.
- Repeat with Team B.
- The team with the most points at the end of the game wins.
5. Wrap-up Activity (5 minutes):
- Review the vocabulary words taught during the lesson by asking students to name some food items they learned today.
- Give each student a mini whiteboard or paper and ask them to write down three food words they remember from the lesson.
- If time allows, invite a few students to share their words with the class.
