In the sixth grade of primary school, I have learned a lot of English knowledge and skills. I am excited to share with you some of the interesting things I have encountered during my English learning journey.

Firstly, I want to mention the fascinating stories that we have read in English class. We have explored various genres of stories, including fairy tales, fables, and adventure stories. One of my favorite stories is "The Lion and the Mouse", which teaches us the importance of kindness and the power of small actions. Another remarkable story is "The Little Match Girl", which touches our hearts and reminds us to appreciate the little joys in life. Reading these stories not only improves our reading comprehension but also helps us develop our imagination and empathy.
Moreover, we have been practicing our speaking skills through various activities and exercises. In class, we often engage in conversations with our classmates, discussing topics such as our hobbies, favorite animals, and dream jobs. We also enjoy participating in role-plays, where we simulate real-life situations and practice speaking in English. These activities not only build our confidence in using English but also enhance our communication skills, allowing us to express ourselves more effectively.
Furthermore, we have learned a wide range of vocabulary and grammar rules. We have studied different parts of speech, such as nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs. Learning new words has been an exciting adventure as we explore their meanings, understand their usage, and expand our vocabulary. Additionally, we have learned various grammar topics, such as tenses, prepositions, and conjunctions. Understanding and applying these grammar rules correctly enable us to construct sentences accurately and express our ideas clearly.
In addition to classroom activities, our teacher has encouraged us to watch English movies and listen to English songs. This not only helps us improve our listening skills but also exposes us to authentic English language. Every week, we have a listening comprehension test where we listen to a recorded passage and answer questions about it. These activities have been challenging but fun, and they have definitely helped us become more proficient in understanding spoken English.
In conclusion, the sixth grade of primary school has been an exciting and enriching stage of my English learning journey. The interesting stories, speaking practice, vocabulary and grammar knowledge, as well as listening activities, have enhanced my English skills and broadened my understanding of the language. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn English, and I am eager to continue my progress in the future.
